Hungary is Awakening

After 36 years, Hungary is still healing from the long shadow of communism—a time when faith was suppressed, churches were silenced, and generations grew up without the hope of the Gospel.

Even today, the remnants of atheism and spiritual skepticism linger, leaving many people searching for meaning in a world where most have been taught God does not exist.

But hearts are beginning to reopen to spiritual truth!

Our team in Hungary is finding God opening doors and allowing us to speak into the darkness. There is revival afoot as the foundations of faith that had been intentionally erased for decades are being rebuilt - springing back to life!

Searching for Answers

Many Hungarians, especially the younger generation, feel a deep sense of alienation. Modern culture teases them with material success but little purpose. They are questioning old ideologies yet struggling to find something real to replace them.

This generation is searching for authenticity—something that speaks to their hearts and answers their longing for identity and belonging.

Few in the older generations have any answers or hope to give them.

The Good News

The good news? We have a Savior who can answer all their questions. A Savior who calls each person by name and freely gives abundant life to anyone who puts their trust in Him.

Mission work in Hungary isn't about opening new Church buildings—it’s about a nation of people who are rediscovering their souls.

Through discipleship, community building, and the message of God’s unconditional love, our Team is helping Hungarians find freedom in Christ after decades of spiritual captivity.

Now is the Time

Paul reminds us in Romans 10:14:

“How can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?”

Now is the time for the Church to answer the call—to bring light, truth, and hope to a nation ready to listen.

God is moving in Hungary, and we are there to serve Him.
